Spotify on Iphone X

Hello, I bought an Iphone X a few days ago. The problem i'm having is that I put play on the music on Spotify and then I want to listen a voice note on Whatsapp. So, the music that is playing cuts (normal), but then, when the voice note ends, the music don't start again automatically as it used to do in my Iphone 7 plus. So, I have to go to Spotify again, and put play. Does someone know how to fix this? I want my music to start automatically after listening the voice note. In my previous Iphone this was possible. I consult with Apple and they told me this wasn't their problem.

Hey! Welcome to Spotify Community. 

I tested what you said on iPhone X. Unfortunately Spotify (or Apple Music) cannot continues playing unless back to app.

I'd recommend you suggest this as a new idea in Community Ideas Exchange.
