My Question or Issue

How do i get Spotify to work on iPhone 5, i am on the latest software downloaded the app and when i try login via email and facebook i get the error messaged login failed, something went wrong try again later.

Just let me understand some things better, have you created your Spotify account using your Facebook account? Or have you created an account using just your personal e-mail without linking it with another service account (like Facebook, Google, Apple)?

Hi i have an account with facebook and another with an email,

when i download the app it says this app is not compatible with this phone etc, but it still lets me download the app but does not let me login into my account

software is up to date on iOS 10.3.4 for the iphone 5

As we can see on this page, the Spotify app is supported for iOS 12 or above versions, if you're running on iOS 10.3.4, you shouldn't be able to use normally the app because it's not compatible.

As long as your OS version isn't supported for Spotify, unfortunately, your iPhone 5 won't successfully run the Spotify app.

This is quite stupid, not being able to have Spotify on an iPhone 5. The app isn’t that complicated to the point an iPhone 5 can’t handle it. You guys should fix that, because many people could use those iPhones as MP3 players.
