Spotify "not"-connect

Spotify "not"-connect

Windows 7 Home Premium PC, 10GB ram, 6 core processor.

iPhone 5s with latest iOS installed.

This usually works..

Open spotify on PC, start music.

Open Spotify on iPhone, tap song on bottom, tap "Devices available", then choose my PC name and I can control spotify from my iPhone.

Now here's what is ACTUALLY happening.

Start Spotify music on PC

Open spotify on iPhone.... tap song on bottom (which is different from what is being played) - NO CONNECT VISIBLE OR AVAILABLE!

What am I paying for again? Cuz that's a feature I use HEAVILY.

I tweeted @SpotifyCares with this problem as well. Would REALLY like it fixed. And yes, I AM a premium subscriber, and yes, I restarted both my PC AND my phone. And yes, I'm on the same network on the phone as my PC is

I pay for this service monthly, I would appreciate some help OTHER than your typical "Be ure to see this publicly posted checklist which you have already gone through multiple times since you started paying us".

1. Started PC spftware. Initiated playing the music.

2. Started iOS application.

I am ON the same network on both devices (PC is hardwired into the router for speed concerns)

3. on iOS device I tap the song playing (which is different from what is actually being played on the PC) no text on bottom that says "Devices available"

4. on PC I click on that little speaker to the left of the volume slider, NOTHING is listing.

Ever since your update, this  has been broken. I would LIKE to stay a customer... feel me? So please stop sending me that same procedure over twitter. Thanks.

*sighs and shakes head*

So um, reinstallation of both Software AND App fixed the issue. Shouldnt have to come down to that, but it worked so far.
