Spotify search not working on iPod?

Hi! I’ve been using my iPod touch 7th gen for Spotify for a little while now but I noticed the search doesn’t work. Anytime I try to search up a song an listen to it from there I get a pop telling me that it can’t open the link on the device. This happens with any song I try to search up. I’ve gone to Spotify support and tried everything. Deleting the app and reinstalling, emptying the cashe, and restarting my network settings. None of it has worked. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on?

Would you mind trying with a different internet connection to check if that makes the difference?

Also, could you let us know the operating system and Spotify version of your iPod?
