Spotify stops playing offline songs on Iphone after 1 or 2 songs

Hi all,

I have Spotify Unlimited on my Iphone. It stops playing offline songs after playing 1 or 2 songs of my playlist.

Ín my setting 'playing without pause' is on. Anyone an idea how to solve this?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

When you say Spotify unlimited, I'm assuming you mean Spotify Premium? 

Do you get any error messages or does it just stop playing? Are those files local files synced from your desktop or files synced offline from Spotify?

I would suggest you try a quick clean reinstallation of the app and see if that helps. After doing this you will need to resync all your offline content though so be careful with data limits etc!

I am having the same problem with my Premium subscription playing my offline available playlists in offline mode.  Spotify thinks they are all present and synced, but sometimes it will play for many songs then stop and other times it only plays 1 song. There are also songs on the playlist that show the green download arrow next to them that won't play at all, despite saying they are playing (arrow vs pause icons), there is no lapsed time occuring. This is really frustrating since the entire reason I use Spotify as opposed to other streaming services is the offline option with the Premium subscription.
