Spotify won't play different songs while speakers

Whenever i play songs on spotify on my iphone it will play other songs afterwards. im assuming songs that are similar or in spotify's algorithims. if i am airplaying the song to a speaker it won't play the next track it just plays that one song and doesn't play other "similar songs"

why doesn't it continue to play songs if on a speaker, but it does when playing on just phone?

This sounds like the autoplay feature:

Currently this is only supported in the mobile and desktop apps. It is not curretnly supported with using Connect with other devices and speakers.
