Streaming Spotify to Apple TV plays a weird video on loop

When I use airplay on my iPhone to stream Spotify to Apple TV, it plays a 30 second video (people running, dancing, someone at the aquarium) on loop with the music I selected playing in the background. Why is this happening? My friend has the same version of Spotify on his phone and when he streams, it's not doing this. It is incredibly annoying to be forced to watch this video. I want the cover art or Apple TV screensaver back. Help!

By going under Downloads in the Apple Appstore on the iPhone, it allowed me to downgrade the Spotify version to 8.4.0.623. Since I did this, the issue has gone away. Very weird. Perhaps the folks at Spotify noticed the problem with 8.4.1...

It's still here in 8.4.9, but only on the iPad, not the iPhone.

I just created a family account on Spotify and I find this screensaver very annoying. I tried to find on the web how to disable it without result. Does anyone have the answer? Can it be turned off and let my usual screen saver run in the background instead? Otherwise, I will unsubscribe and use another service.
