Two premium accounts, not the same devices

Two premium accounts, not the same devices

Hey, we have a family subscription and an Amazon Echo Dot. My husband can connect via the Spotify iOS app to the Echo Dot but I can't - the device is simply not showing up in the devices menu.

Any help?

Thanks!

We also have a family subscription, but an Amazon Echo Show. I can connect to the Show using the Spotify App from my phone (iPhone 12 Pro Max), but my wife can not (iPhone XS). Both are on the latest version of iOS as of March 6, 2021. (14.4) and the latest version of the Spotify app (8.6.6.1099). The settings appear to be exactly the same (Show Local Devices Only set to Off and on the same wifi Network). The Devices List show our other Speakers, but none of our Amazon speakers. While this topic is over 3 years old, I'm hoping someone will have come up with a solution to this problem.

Hey there folks,

Thank you for your posts here in the Community. Apologies for the late reply. We just came across this thread.

Can you confirm if the account's that doesn't show the device have linked the Spotify account to Amazon?

If so, we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app on the devices it doesn't show up on. This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

Let us know how everything goes so that we can continue to assist you if you need us to. We're always one reply away.
