Voice Search Feature does not work?

Regardless of my opinion towards how pointless the feature is and how little people are going to use it, I can't even use it. My internet connection is just fine and my microphone isn't broken but I'll say "Play top hits" and it will say that it didn't hear me. My microphone is allowed in the settings, I'm doing everything right appearantly, but it doesn't even work. What should I do.

Also bring back touch preview.
