What happened to the elapsed time bar?

Hi.  I have Spotify Premium.  I make playlists on my desktop Mac, and then sync them to my iPad and iPhone 11 (both with the most current ioS as of 6/15/20).  

When a song is playing on my Mac, listening to a Spotify playlist, I can see where I am in the song (length of song and how much is left).

When listening to the same playlist on my iPad or iPhone, there is no time counter/ elapsed time line for any song.  

I used to be able to click on/touch the current song playing and the time would show up.  Now it will not do this.  I use my songs for teaching, and I need to know where I am in the song and how much is left.  

Any advice?!  Thanks.

Have you tried reinstalling the Spotify app?

Have you tried using another iOS device logged into your account?

I have. Two iPads & my iPhone. Oddly, it started showing elapsed time on my iPhone regularly, but not iPad. Strange. Thank you for replying!

Hi there. Yes, this looks more like what I see!!! Thank you! I wish Spotify and ios/android would not make changes. It is frustrating, especially when users are comfortable or used to something.,

so the elapsed time bar is not on the left-hand side like in that image.
