Device

iPhone 15 Plus

Operating System

iOS 17.5.1

My Question or Issue

The iOS app is really not working properly at all. What's New does not load correctly and when I click on a podcast it takes a long time to load and sometime freezes. I have performed a clean install 4 times and the issue persists. The app is not working correctly, please fix and update the iOS app ASAP.

Hello, @martin2889DollarTreeCompass

When Apps Freeze: A Symphony of Solutions

Your iPhone’s app orchestra seems to be hitting a few sour notes lately. Fear not—I’ve got a playlist of fixes for you:

Force-Quit the Misbehaving App:
When an app freezes mid-performance, force-quitting can be its encore.
Swipe up and hold the home screen (or swipe up from the bottom on newer iPhones) to open the App Switcher.
Swipe up on the frozen app window to close it.
Now, reopen the app and see if it’s back in harmony.
Update Your Apps:
Sometimes apps need a backstage makeover. Check if there are updates available:
Go to the App Store.
Tap your profile picture (top right).
Scroll down to “Available Updates.”
Update any apps that need a fresh coat of code.
Hard Reset (The Dramatic Exit):
Hold both the power button and volume down button (or home button, depending on your iPhone model) until the Apple logo appears.
It’s like a dramatic exit and re-entry for your phone.
Declutter the App Ensemble:
Too many apps on stage can lead to chaos. Close any apps you’re not using:
Double-click the home button (or swipe up from the bottom on newer iPhones).
Swipe up on any app you want to exit.
Keep the spotlight on the essentials.
Reset All Settings (The Grand Finale):
In your iPhone settings:
Go to General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
This won’t erase your data, but it’ll reset preferences and settings.
It’s like a standing ovation for your iPhone’s settings.

Remember, even in the world of iPhones, a little backstage magic can restore harmony.

I hope this info is helpful to you.

Best Regard,
Gregory Chavez
