When I try to play my playlist on shuffle, it repeats the same song?

I try to play my playlist on shuffle, but it keeps repeating the same song even though repeat is off. I’ve tried skipping and occasionally it’ll play another, but then it’ll just go back to the first song after the second is done. Even in the “Next” section, it won’t let me move or remove the first song. It does this with different songs every time I try to play my playlists.

In this case, we'd like to gather as much info as possible. Can you let us know the exact make/model and OS of your device along with the Spotify version you have currently running?
 

On another note, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event, such as a OS update? If yes, please send us the details.
 

Lastly, can you send us a video recording of what you are seeing on your side? You can attach it in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.
