When connect to my car stereo, I can't listen to music, this since the last iPhone update! Help

Armada doesn't recognize the phone, it said that iPod not connected, and no music found, this since last IOS update!

Same thing happened to me when I got a new phone. Here is something to try, just add a couple of songs (could be from that U2 free album if you dont have anything else available) in Itunes to your phone and it should see it ok.  Then after it starts playing your "ipod songs" just fire up spotify and play anything there.
