Why are songs getting cut off before they finish?

When playing an album or Spotify playlist on iPhone or MacBook, songs never finish but are cut short by a few seconds each time. Very annoying!

Let's try some troubleshooting steps and see if it helps:

• Clear the app's cache from Settings > Storage. 
• Perform a clean reinstall of the Spotify app.
• Check if you can play an album or a playlist from a different device or the Web Player.
