Why does the app on my phone force closing?

Why does the app on my phone force closing?

     As of today (November 3, 2016) the Spotify app on my IPhone 6 keeps force closing and won't let me play music. I have tried just about everything but nothing seems to be working. Do I need to update my phone to IOS 10.11 or is there something else I am missing?

Do you have some Anti-Virus in your mobile? If yes, try to scan for viruses or something like that. If it still does not work then I'm afraid the only thing that I see available for you to do is to format your mobile.

It has recently started working again. I didn't do anything and then after a couple days of this problem it stopped crashing and is fully working now
