Why oh why can I not put my iPod music on my Spotify account

I cannot get my music to load from my iPod to my Spotify.  I have an old iPod.  30GB.  First I tried telling it to back up and then sync.  That didn't work.  Then I just said don't back it up and it still did not load anything onto my Spotify lists, although this time it did erase my iPod.  I can probably reload my iPod from iTunes, but seem to be having trouble syncing that list back on to my iPod at this time too....ArGHHHH....

Can anyone offer any insight into what is happening here?

Hi, to sync with Spotify you need to connect it via USB and have the Spotify app open - you will need a premium account.

You will then have to open up the spotify desktop client, and click the devices link in the sidebar. Wait a minute or two, and the iPod should appear underneath the devices option.

Click your iPod, and select to sync it 🙂
