The ones in the App store only work with iTunes from what I can tell.
If it can only be done within Spotify, any word on that being an upcoming feature?
BTW - I did see another message with a link to an 18 month old article on building a iPhone equalizer, but not into that.
I would also like to know this.

I think the fact it was hidden speaks volumes (excuse the pun), it was never meant to be found in the first place.
