Won't stay on a track for more than a second

I'm using ipad. Suddenly anything i try and play won't stay on the track, and it keeps skipping to the next track. Nothing stays for more than a second. Any ideas?

Spotify is having problems right now and they are trying to fix it as soon as possible.
