Your Music Artists

When I updated the app on my iPhone, I have certain artists I added to my collection. After it was updated it added all these other artists that I don't want there and I can't delete them, is there a certain way?

The recent update added artists you follow to the Artists tab in Your Music. To remove those artists from Your Music in the Artists tab go to the Artists page and deselect following.

The artist will then be removed from Your Music collection.

You may need to close and reopen the app for the changes to appear.

Thanks for post. I have exactly the same problem, but I'm not sure I understand your instructions. What do you mean by 'deselect following'?

I've gone to the Artists tab (which contains the artists I want to delete) and to the Artists Page an artist I want to delete.  I can't see any options for selected, deselecting or deleting.

When you are on an artist's full discography page, right under the artist name should be a little button that says "follow" or "following". Tap it to follow or unfollow an artist. Any artist you are "following" will show up in Your Music. If you don't want them there, unfollow them and they should be removed.

I may be posting in the wrong section as my problem relates to an Android phone.  I can't see any buttons that say follow or following on my Android phone. 

That being said, I also use Spotify on my iPad.  The iPad application doesn't seem to have Artists or My Music, which is confusing.

Also is there any way to delete items in your inbox?
