I've known this to happen with certain tracks when they become corrupt for whatever reason. As annoying as it is a reinstallation of the application might fix it (but you will have to redownload offline content).

Thank you for your reply. I re-installed the app on the phone. I don't have any music saved for offline use on my phone so it wasn't a big deal. I streamed music both at home and at work and it looks like the problem still exists. It only occurs on WiFi connection. If I switch to 3G/cellular, it works fine until my signal craps out. Streaming at work on the cellular network is miserable. Any other solutions?

I can verify that the only way to get the issue to stop is by going off of wifi and streaming over the data carrier. I'll have to turn on wifi eventually, as I work in the middle of an old building, and I can probably make it 4 or 5 songs before it will skip forward on my iPhone. Unfortunately, I have the 8gb phone and can't put music on it for offline use, so I'm pretty close to cancelling my premium subscription. Hopefully they will get something fixed soon.

I have the same problem on my iPad (newest iOS, newest Spotify-App).
Once I start using Spotify, it works fine for a couple of songs. Sometimes 3, sometimes 10 and more. After that, the songs start skipping after 2-3 minutes. And it starts gettings worse from there. At the end, the songs don't even last more than 10 seconds or so and Spotify skips to the next song. Totally anoying and I can't switch to 3G...
Any ideas Spotify?
Btw: Same here, the covers don't get loaded anymore and the track progress bar just dims out and after a few seconds comes up with the next song.
Same here! It's a disaster. I can't listen to one single song from start to finish, as it always skips to the next track... This is absolutely unacceptable, as a Premium customer I cannot put up with this bad service for long.

Correct, streaming spotify online on wifi. I contacted customer support and they gave me a test account and it is currently doing the same thing through their account.
Still having the same issue on version 0.9.2, even after reinstalling, changing settings, etc. The issue seems to occur only on wifi, as others have mentioned. Ridiculous to pay for this service and have the most basic function (playing music on wifi) not work properly.
I have the same problem, but it's not limited to streaming with WiFi. Last night it did the same thing when I was on 4g
I am having the same problem. Only signed up to Premium last night and had no problems on my iPad at home. Now I am at work with my phone on the WiFi and it skips EVERY track, around 2 minutes in. Using 3G isnt really an option as I dont have a huge data allowance. Anyone from Spotify have a solution?

Confirmed that it is still skipping on wifi... almost worse now lol. It made it about 3 songs and then it skipped forward at 2:30 in. The next 4 songs made it about 20 - 30 seconds in before skipping. Let me know if you need me to try something else.
