iPad Spotify app will not connect to other devices. iOS 10.3.3

My Question or Issue

 Up until recently I could connect directly through the Spotify app to my airplay devices to control Spotify from my iPad. I rely on it to connect to our PA system as a professional sound engineer.

It still works on my iPhone and on every other app on my iPad, but when I press on 'more devices' -(Airplay & Bluetooth) in the Spotify app, nothing happens. 

I have uninstalled and and reinstalled the app. - Nothing. 

It it is not an issue with my setup as everything else functions perfectly. Apple Music on the same iPad connects flawlessly. 

Please advise.
