iPhone 6 -- Spotify Connect says available on network but won't play

Phone is connected to my home wifi, and so is my Yamaha receiver with Spotify Connect. When I try to select Spotify Connect via app, it lists my receiver, saying available on network, but when I click on it music does to not play over receiver, stays on phone.

Sometimes it works OK.

Please help! What does "available on network" mean? When it is working properly, this does not appear.

Another Spotify Connect problem:

Sometime I choose to play from receiver, and it says it is selected but music still comes from phone. I then go back and tap it harder a time or two and it works.

How can it recognize that the receiver has been selected to display it as such, but not recognize it to play???
