I have songs that are on my comp (desktop) on this path....C:\\my_album

I went into spotiy preference and set local files to on with this path C:\\my_album

then I go to my spotify desktop app local files and select all of these files (8 songs) and add them to play list "My Playlist"

Then I go to my spotify iPhone app and I can see "My Playlist"

I can see all the files (all songs are grayed out)

I turns switch to "Available Offline"

Does nothing all, it says "Waiting to download"

My iPhone is connected yo work wireless network

My desktop is connected to work network (hard wired- ethernet cable)

Can anyone help please...I saw some posts that desktop and iOS device have to be on same wifi. My desktop does not have WiFi adapter.

Suggestions ?

Sorry, but both the computer and the iOS device have to be on the same WiFi network for it to work. One cannot be connected via hard wire.
