iPhone 8 Spotify connection in smart car! Help!!

Wondering if anyone could help? When I connect my iPhone 8 via Bluetooth or via usb in my smart car, the music stops after every track and doesn’t play through ? Very annoying and I have to keep pressing play numerous times on my device for it to play again. This does not happen any where else only in the car!?

I would think it is because of something else on your phone is starting which causes your spotify to pause, same thing happened to me a lot not to long ago

Have you tried connecting both your media and calls to the car? I have had issues with Spotify working when only my media is connected. Of course, that may not be the issue.

If you have any other music apps (Pandora, ITunes, etc.) i would recommend closing them down and letting Spotify works.

Also, make sure your phone is fully updated with everything new.
