My Question or Issue

This never used to be an issue for me, but earlier this year, I’ve noticed a really annoying bug, in which if I was listening to music through Spotify, either in the car or through headphones or aloud through the phone speakers, half of the time when I stop listening, the music control box/app on the lock screen and notifications screen will stay up. It’s not even staying up showing the song paused, it’s a bug where it thinks the song is still playing. The time tracker doesn’t move, but the play/pause button will only show the pause option, and if you press pause, it does nothing to change it. This isn’t every time, but it’s been happening frequently enough for me to be a bit annoyed by it, and the only fix is just closing the app so that it’s not running at all anymore. I’d think that this is just an iPhone issue, but I don’t have this happen with Apple Music whenever I listen to that, it’s only Spotify. When I first noticed this happening was on the iPhone 6S that I had, figured it was because it’s an old phone and just doesn’t run the new features of Spotify as well as it could, but I just got an 8 Plus yesterday and the same issue just happened. Mainly I just want to know if this is a common bug that other people have experienced, or if I somehow just have a super broken version. I have a feeling it might have something to do with how the vertical videos work.
