no media available for browsing here on Android auto using iphone

hi Everybody, I'm using Spotify on my Volvo XC40 2024 model. I installed the Spotify app and I can see all my playlists. However, when I click on the Playlist to see the songs and start listening I receive the message "no media available for browsing here". this is quite erratic. Sometimes I see the songs and it works well but most of the time I don't. If I use the Bluetooth Media player app, I can cast Spotify seamlessly from my phone but that's not what I want to do. I don't want to be looking down at my phone when I want to change the playlist or switch to podcasts.

 

I found this thread https://community.spotify.com/t5/Other-Podcasts-Partners-etc/Library-problem-no-media-available-for-... but I don't understand what was the solution and what are the versions I should have on the car software and on the phone (if that is even relevant)

Hey @Wiggleydoo,

 

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to see this has happened.
Have you tried removing your cached data to see if that changes anything? 
To do so, follow the steps here.

And, if that doesn't help, we can also check if installing a completely fresh copy of the app would make a difference.
