"Error Occurred Try Again" on all tabs but Library

I have tried everything that has been listed in a previous topic thread with this problem. The thread was checked off as "solved" but based on newer comments and my own experience, this is everything but.

Hello Spotify! Where is your fix?

Welcome to the Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out to us. To start, can you let us know what device, operating system, and version of Spotify you're using?

 

Also, what steps have you tried so far in order to fix this issue? We'll then see what we can suggest.

I have the same problem (and other people too) only in ios. I've tryed a clean reinstallation, logout/login, change wi-fi signal but nothing is change. ios 9.3.4 on Ipod touch and spotify 5.7.0.1055. Spotify on android or windows pc never give me this problem

I've tried the same things as what pinen83 posted without finding a solution.

I have an iPhone 6s Plus with totally up to date iOS and apps.

I went out of the country this weekend and while my phone was in airplane mode with only wifi on, it magically started working again. Only to go back to the same problem once I arrived back in the states. I have a hard time believing this has anything to do with fixing it though.

this is such a bummer!

I realized when it did work while I was gone, I wasn't even connected to wifi. So today I did a little experimenting and have found that I only get the error messages when I'm on wifi. It comes back fully functional when I am not. And I tried this in different places with and without wifi.

Could this be the trigger?
