"Song Not Downloaded" for local files on desktop

I am having trouble downloading local files onto my iphone from my Mac desktop. Here's the odd thing. I have a folder on my desktop for local files that I want to add to spotify on my iphone (all mp3 files) and created a playlist in spotify to sync those local files too. SOME of these local files are able to play the others are grayed out yet they are in the same target folder. I have the available offline set on, download set on, download over data plan set on, pretty much everything that involves using local files offline on. Another odd thing is that when I go to the main library where all songs are it says "Downloading" and "Waiting to download" under but it never does. Ideas?

Hey! Unfortunetely Spotify doesn't support syncing local library from one device to another. Sorry 🙂
