"What’s Playing Notification" Genius' feature isn't available for Spotify on iOS

 My Question or Issue

 Hi! I switched to iOS after a long time with Android and I've immediately noticed that Genius can't be connected with Spotify. On Android, when I play something on Spotify, I receive a notification that shows me what song I'm playing and if I tap on it, Genius shows me the lyrics. On iOS this feature is available only for Apple Music.

I've written an e-mail to Genius to try to understand why, but I didn't receive an answer.

I know probably this it's Apple fault, because they wanna introduce their users in their ecosystem, but I like Spotify more than Apple Music, so I would like to find a plausible answer.

If somebody knows something about this, let me know. I'm curious😊.

P.S. I'll use my old Samsung until I'll solve this issue😂

Currently Genius doesn't support this feature with Spotify in iOS.

I'd encourage you to reach out again to them leaving your feedback on this matter.
