Hiya Ziv, so if you've turned off the Autoplay feature in the Spotify app on your iPhone and you're still experiencing recommended songs being played when listening to your private playlist, there could be a few different reasons for this:
Make sure you've turned off Autoplay for both your private playlists and your other playlists. To do this, go to your Spotify settings, then scroll down to "Playback" and toggle off the "Autoplay" switch.
It's possible that the recommended songs you're hearing are part of a Spotify playlist that includes songs similar to the ones in your private playlist. In this case, you may need to adjust your playlist settings to ensure that it only includes songs that you've specifically chosen.
Check to see if the recommended songs are being played as part of a radio station. If you've previously listened to a radio station based on your private playlist, Spotify may continue to play recommended songs when you listen to that playlist in the future. To disable radio stations, go to your playlist settings and toggle off the "Enable Audio Effects and Recommendations" switch.
I hope this helps you resolve the issue and enjoy listening to your private playlist without any interruptions!
Happy tails,

hiya prague thanks for replying so fast, in regards to your first point , i already did that and it didnt help.
in regards to your second point , how do i adjust my playlist settings to play only songs that were added to my playlist by me? and in regards to your 3rd point, i dont have the toggle "enable audio effects and recommendations" at all in my playlist settings. just to make sure , the playlist settings are reachable when i click on the 3 dots icon in my playlist page in the app?
I'm sorry to hear that toggling off Autoplay on all devices didn't help. In that case, let's try adjusting your playlist settings to play only songs that were added by you.
To do this, follow these steps:
This will ensure that only songs in your personal library will play when you listen to your playlist, and any recommended songs will be excluded.
Regarding your third point, it's possible that the "Enable Audio Effects and Recommendations" toggle is not available for all users or may be located in a different section of the app. If you don't see this option in your playlist settings, it's likely that it's not applicable to your account.
And yes, you can access your playlist settings by clicking on the three dots icon in your playlist page in the Spotify app.
All the best,

hi prague good morning , sadly your reply did not help at all, i dont have any "filter" option when i press "edit" in my playlist settings. the only things i can edit are the playlist name , songs in my playlist (add / remove them), add a description, change the image thumbnail and so fourth. and since i dont have "filter" option i dont have a "only in my library" toggle.
but in any case this problem seems to have fixed itself (dont know , maybe from an app update?). this is definetly a weird bug and should be forwarded to the dev team. i was at my wits end a few days ago. also you should workshop this solution since its not applicable to me. thanks for trying in any case. have a nice day.
I have same problem and no solution
I have the same problem only on my phone fine on the computer.
Hi folks!
Sounds like you either have Enhance or Smart Shuffle toggled on. Both features add song recommendations to the current playlist/queue. Follow the steps below to disable them:
Cheers!
I tried alll these things and still have an issue of recommended songs every 3 songs. I haven’t had this issue until recently. Going bonkers!
Hey @Glorsson,
Thank you for your reply in this thread.
Could you please try to log out > restart your device > log back in to see if that'll make a difference?
It is also a good idea to clear cached files on the affected device by following these steps.
In case you're still getting recommended songs and you're sure that Enhance, Smart shuffle and Autoplay are disabled on your device, we'd like you to send us a screenshot of what you see on your playlist. This way we can get a better understanding and advise you further.
We'll be on the lookout for your response.
