“songs” option missing from library

Solved!

“songs” option missing from library

My “songs” tab is missing from my library.

I can’t listen to anything randomly with the new interface.  If I can, it is a playlist and not my downloaded content.

I can’t sort in alphabetical order.

I would like to know how to select songs individually as I have for years.

I want to listen to what I want, not a cluttered list of recommendations and playlist

This seems to be a material change in what I have agreed to pay for premium.

I want my my ability to selectively choose music with ease back.

Can anyone help?

Hey there @realdog4,

thanks for posting !

All of the above might be related to the new "Your Libary" change.

Make sure to check this Spotify article and this Spotify answer regarding the changes made within the feature.

Hope this helps 😃

Hi - all of the online guidance on finding how to see the download queue directs to "songs" in "library ".  If that option has gone, how do I find my download queue?

I have since switched to Apple Music  but I believe I remember how the issue was solved.

Go to "playlists"

Select the playlist named "liked" and that is your old library of downloads.

I put off updating for a long time due to this, but now I’ve just canceled my premium subscription and switched to Apple Music.

Can’t believe such a major usability regression was done intentionally...
