I have an iphone 4s with all the updates, a premium spotify account with the most recent mobile ap. Whenever I try to sync songs to my phone the spinning icon next to the first song starts to spin but nothing ever actually syncs. This lasts for a very long time at then my mobile ap gives me a message saying that it has stopped syncing because spotify has gone idle. Nothing ever syncs, please help.
I've looked at all the posts here and it seems I'm not the only one with this problem but I have yet to find a solution that works. I saw one post where a mod made an adjustment to the person's account and they were able to start syncing.
Hi,
Yes, I am definitely connected to wifi, the same wifi network that my MacBook is connected to that houses my Spotify desktop App. The grey, downard arrow next to the first song turns into that spinning icon as if it's syncing, but it never gets beyond that point. It's really frustrating and has cost me over a hundred dollars in cell overage charges the past few months because I thought that the tracks had syned. In fact, they were synced at one point and I don't know how they ever became un-synced but they did, and now I can't get them back on the phone.
Help...
The same happens to me. Connected to Wifi and the battery is charging but the songs won't update from my computer to my iPhone4. This happened after I downloaded the new version of the app.
To sync these songs, is there a certain amount of space I need to have free on my iphone? There is some space and nothing syncs, but when I cleared away a few of the albums in my itunes app on the phone a few of the songs I was trying to sync came through.
HEY!
I have had this problem as well. I emailed Spotify support and got no reply so I spent a couple hours investigating. I am almost positive it is a space issue. I deleted a few apps and albums on my iPhone and my playlists are now syncing. I feel you are on the right track!
Hey! I have the exact same problem here. Today I made 3 new playlists on my computer, but when I open Spotify on my IPhone 4S it hasn't updated. What's going on?! I want to be able to listen to my new lists on my phone..
Hello!
I previously had all my songs synced to my phone (iphone 4s), but after deleting and re installing the app I need to start again and NOTHING will sync.
I have tryed everything and I don't know what else to do 🙂
Please help!
