spotify on ipod touch 128gb: regularly losing downloaded songs!

spotify on ipod touch 128gb: regularly losing downloaded songs!

I am a long time premium account holder and recently bought a 128gb 6th gen ipod touch to take more music with me on the go. To do so I have created a number of playlists of my favourite artists and downloaded these to the device for use (the "available offline" option). This seems to work ok for a while (a few days maybe) but on a number of occasions now I have went to use the app and found I have been logged out and all my downloads have been lost from my device with the only way to rectify is by re-downloading again. After doing this on 5 seperate occassions the fun factor is definitely wearing thin. I have totalled up the tracks on my downloaded playlists and these total  3,009 songs. I wonder if this may be a factor as to why this issue keeps happening otherwise I am stumped. Any advice would be welcome!

I have the same problem , every day I have to re download every single playlist, and it take a whileeeee to finish.

i have premium family, I'm the only one with this problem. Even do, I just have two devices with Spotify ( my comp and my touch) some times I recived a note saying that I'm reaching the max of devices, don't understand why cause I just used two and my kids they had in phone, computers, I touch, laptop, iPad . Can anybody help me with this?

I was considering upgrading from 2 Kindle Fires ($50 model) to iPod Touch 6th gen for $430, because Spotify continuously deletes my downloaded songs on both Kindle Fires. Now I see from your post that I would/could have the same problem with the iPod Touch deleting downloaded songs and wasted $430.  Spotify deleting downloaded songs looks to be quite a common problem with different devices, since 2012.  I wonder why Spotify hasn't fixed this problem in 4 years?  I suspect that it lowers song plays, therefore reducing Spotify's royalty payments to artists, increasing profit.
