I am experiencing problems with my Spotify Premium on Android. Spotify is so so slow after opening the app, it takes a minute before I can open and play any song. It just keeps showing the loading sign for more than a minute, which is a huge irritation when wanting to quickly let your friends hear a particular song. I nowadays always open Youtube in this case because with that app, I've got the song playing in mere seconds.
I've tried every so called trick in the book, deleting the app, clearing cache, rebooting, re-installing Spotify and redownloading all my songs, I've even completely formatted my micro sd card.. This did not help a bit.
Also, the songs in my playlists keep re-downloading constantly without any reason. Spotify just deletes them randomly. I am getting pretty sick with this problem. The first complaints on the internet regarding these problems date from the beginning of 2012 (!!!) and there are still many users experiencing these problems at the end of 2015, which is nearly four years later. And no, the problem is not due to my micro sd card, because every other app I use does not have problems with my micro sd card. Also, data transfer to and from my micro sd card works flawlessly. This is also mentioned by many users who are given the advice to buy a different micro sd card, but Spotify seems to think this is a perfect solution by blaming the micro sd card, rather than taking the blame for their own app.
I am getting the feeling this problem is not taken seriously by Spotify. I would like to hear from you why so many people still have these compaints and why the same so-called solutions are being advised to users, even after almost everyone states these solutions do not work properly. I also wan to know what is currently being done by Spotify to fix these problems.
