I apologise if this is referred and resolved elsewhere, but I have serached extensively, with no solution yet - I hope someone can help me!
I am a (new) Spotify Premium user. I am running Version 4.6.0.1466 on iOS 9.2 on my iPhone.
I also use Spotify across the Desktop app, and Sonos at home.
I would like to create a 'library' of my favourite albums which are visible across all my devices. Due to the fact that I travel a lot with my work, I would then like to selectively choose which albums I would like to download to my iPhone for use offline.
So, what I have been doing is:
Browsing to album I would like to 'add' to my library,
Then selecting 'save'
What then happens, is the whole album downloads straight to my phone memory and is saved. This occurs whether I have the 'Available Offline' mode for that album enabled or not.
When I browse through 'My Music' to the album, I can see that the 'Avalable Offline' switch is NOT on, yet every single song in the album has a green 'downloaded' arrow next to each track, and it is available for Offline listening.
My trouble is, I don't want this to happen, as it's filling my phone up very quickly!
What I want is to have a collection of music albums, avialble across all devices, which I can choose to download.
Please can someone help me - this is driving me crazy! I'm sure it's very simple, but I've just missed it,.
Surely, I don't have to create a playlist for each album?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Kind regards,
Stuart
