Spotify over zealously takes priority as the default music player when playing via bluetooth.
On a fresh reboot of the phone, once bt connects, and I press play, Spotify plays.
I could start Poweramp, play songs, disconnect bt, come back after couple minutes, reconnect bt, press play again, and Spotify starts to play. I don't have Spotify as a widget, and I haven't touched Spotify app, nor played any Spotify on other devices, yet Spotify still takes over.
Last time when Spotify was the one playing, I paused it from bt, open Poweramp app, press play on bt, and STILL Spotify continues to play. It wasn't unless I task kill Spotify, or manually press play inside Poweramp would it start to play from Poweramp. Crazy. There must be a background process that Spotify runs automatically, that makes sure Spotify plays by default.
Spotify app: 6.5.0.1816
LG G3, Android 6.0
Very annoying, as I use Spotify mostly for my kids' music at home at night. So on work commute, I don't want to hear Dora the Explorer first thing in the morning.
