I have an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Sansung device and Spotify was working great till a couples of weeks ago after I install the latest version. Have several phone crashes that do not respond from touch or hw buttons and have to restart removing the battery, unfortunatelly device keeps a record of the app running the problem persist even after battery removal.
Once the app crashes phone remains on this wired status, I tried to uninstall several Apps and still have problems with it.
Yesterday figured out that was a problem with spotify that cause this issue and now testing after a day seems not to crash if not using the widget.
There might be an issue with the widget since if you change songs repeatedly forward the app crashes and leads to this device freezing status.
I send two crashes reports to developer but seems no new versions including this issue resolution.
