Hi there,
On my iPhone, I see Spotify owns 3Gb of data. The app itself is just 75Mb, so this cached data should be music, right? Secondly I noticed Spotify eats mobile data like a hungry wolf. So playing those 3Gb music in 'Offline Mode' seems to be perfect..
But I can not play ANY music in my library at all while offline. (Just a pop-up asking me to go online; no i don't want to exceed my mobile data subscription.) How can I play all that music on my iphone? Where are all these songs??
Please tell me I am missing something here. As a premium user, i do not expect this kind of restrictions. Not quite premium if you ask me. If Spotify is a pure streaming media service and I can not play that music, why store the data? Or is it a special treat from the UI-designers; put buttons where people can't find them! Just like no quick acces to a 'offline'- and 'clear cached music'-button.. No brainers. As you noticed, this frustrates me a bit. You expect more from a specialized service like this.
