Why no save option on iPad?

I've just set up a new Premium account in a new iPad. On my old Premium account on other iPad I have the usual option to save and download albums, and I have the 'my music' item in the bottom bar. On the new account and iPad there is no save or download option, and instead of my music there is only my playlists' in the bottom bar in place of my music, as there is no way of saving individual albums, songs or artists. Net result is the only way to save music is in playlists, which is hopeless as I get massively long lists of multiple artist in one playlist. How do I get the option back?
