I own a Cowon D3 which is an "audiophile" PMP that runs Andriod 2.3 - but does not use Google Play. Instead, to install the Spotify app, you have to go to http://m.spotify.com and manually download the SpotifyAndriod.apk direct.
Spotify - if you are monitoring this site, the app on the download page is 0.5.3.56, but on Google Play is 0.5.5.13. Can you update the website please, or advise where I can manually download the latest version from?
I'm keen on upgrading to the new version as it fixes the bug "The naughty audio bug that causes a cracking noise when you're listening"
