When will Android have an option to level the volume between tracks recorded at different levels? This feature is available on the Windows application.
Take a listen to the album "Jack Takes the Floor" by Jack Elliott, one of the lowest volume recordings I have downloaded to my app. Compare this to the album "Celebration Rock" by the Japandroids, one of the loudest recordings I've downloaded. If I'm listening to the Android Spotify app in my car on shuffle, and I turn up the volume to hear Jack Elliott, and then the Japandroids comes on, it runs the risk of damaging my speakers, not to mention my ears. I feel that this is not only a feature needed for convenience, but also for personal safety.
Thanks,
John
