I just bought an iPhone X (iOS 11.3) last week and tried to connect it to my car via bluetooth for the first time today. The connection goes well, but when I open Spotify I get a banner at the top of the app asking me to connect Waze that I can't dismiss. Nothing happens when I tap the "X" in the corner, or when I tap "Connect to Waze". If that was all it would just be a small annoyance, but as soon as I try to play music the bluetooth connection drops and the music plays from the phone instead.
Searching this forum, I found that this is a known issue that is marked as solved. Well, it is most surely not solved. The Waze banner was stuck even after leaving the car, I had to force close the app to get rid of it. I have never used/installed Waze on any device, and the option in Spotify to integrate with Waze was turned off (turning it on and off again did nothing). My previous phone was an Android (Honor 😎 that I could connect and stream Spotify to the same car whitout problems.
So please, take another look at this issue as it doesn't seem to be solved yet.
