My Question or Issue
Within the past few days Spotify has had a problem playing through my LG WK7 smart speaker via Google Cast (Chromecast).
It will play the first song on a playlist without problems, but when it gets to the second song, there is no sound. It still shows as connected in Spotify on my iPhone, and the track is progressing, but there is no sound from the speaker. If I skip to the next track, the sound will generally come back.
I've tried resetting the speaker. I've tried removing and reinstalling Spotify on my phone. I've tried it from my fiance's phone (same problem). I've tried moving the speaker close to the router, broadband speed is 90mb+. The problem doesn't occur on other music apps (e.g. Google music). And it was fine until the past week.
I've read about similar problems on the forum, but no one seems to have mentioned it for a while, and not quite with this hardware set up.
