My Question or Issue

On Spotify version 7.x, when connected to BMW iDrive, the album art for every playlist showed when browsing. As of version 8.x this feature has been replaced by a generic music icon for no discernable reason. The app is significantly less functional this way, as the small album art graphics are very useful for navigating, particulary when also driving, versus having to read the titles of songs/playlists. It seems like an unsafe UX downgrade, not to mention a tremendous loss of the visual style and appeal to have the art missing and replaced with generic clip art. Been a paying Spotify customer for many years now, and this has me thinking of jumping ship to a program with a better/safer UX.
