Are you kiddin me? Which bright spark decided that it was a good idea to remove the ‘songs’ list?
When I load up Spotify I don’t always have a specific playlist/album/artist in mind and usually just want to shuffle my songs. Often I would then use the top search bar to filter for certain key words. How does removing the songs list make any sense? And just to make matters worse I can no longer see all the artists I’ve saved unless I go and follow them all? That would be an unbelievably tedious and long winded process, and to be honest if I’m going to have to make that much effort to stay in control of my library I may as well start again with another service.
The latest version of the app has removed some very basic and fundamental features, and I really can’t see the logic behind it. Please please PLEASE return these core features. Otherwise I’m fairly sure I won’t be the only user heading off to check out the alternatives to Spotify.
