My Question or Issue

Spotify will not play via Bluetooth or charging cable conncection in my 2015 Fiat. It will show the srub icon bar moving as if it is playing but it will not have audio. When I do manage to make it play with audio it will only come out of the phone's speakers. My phone's bluetooth setting says that it is connected to my car but the car controls to not operate Spotify anymore. The car also says that it has a good connection and I can still make calls and it has my phone book downloaded.

Here's what I've tried so far:

Deleting Spotify and reinstalling/redownloading playlists

Forgetting my car's bluetooth connectino on the phone and reconnecting

Deleting other bluetooth connections except for apple watch

Restarting my phone multiple times

Any assistance that could be offered would be great. My phone will still work with my headphones (wired and bluetooth) and the speaker will still play audio. 

It has worked with my car fine for years until this week and I'm a little at a loss.
