My Question or Issue
I download my spotify music on my SD card (64Gb samsung evo) and for whatever odd reason, whenever my phone gets turned off and on spotify will seem to forget my storage preferences and start downloading my library again but to my phones storage. As a result, I need to put back the storage preferences to SD card. Now I have already downloaded the music previously on the SD card and it will show in my SD card that 12GB is occupied. (the 12GB being the files of all the music) So why is it, that spotify will wipe the SD cards music files/data and redownload my entire library anyway? Why cant it scan the SD card and recognize that the music files/data were already on it?
