My Question or Issue
I am using Spotify Connect on my Denon x4500H AVR to play from my premium account. But I am not able to feel any difference between free account and the premium account ever since I upgraded to premium account. My internet speed is > 40 Mbps. My playback settings in the phone are set to "Very High" Normalize volume is set to off. What settings are used when I am using Spotify Connect on my AVR? Will it still stream on high quality?
As a test I played a track on You Tube music (Free version) that was HD quality track. I played through Bluetooth connection (not even ideal way) to my AVR and the same track on Spotify Connect on the AVR. Unfortunately the You Tube was much more dynamic and rich in qulaity. The difference was day and night.
I want to stay with Spotify but only if I could really enjoy this. Please suggest what can I do to improve the sound quality.
Spotify App version on my phone: 8.5.14.752
Thanks.
