My Question or Issue

I use Spotify on my Android phone, and Android Auto in car. 

I created a playlist and prefer to listening to it sorted by Artist. Occasionally I would add new songs to it, it's always added according to the added dates, that's fine, I can easily go in three-dots menu and 'Sort Playlist', and on the phone app it's play accordingly. The problem is when I play this playlist in car AA, the playlist is still not sorted - it still played according to date added.

Also, I think the following is related: In phone app, when going into the playlist's three-dots menu, you will see the option 'Sort playlist' and 'Edit playlist' at the same menu level. After you use 'Sort playlist', u can see that the songs are sorted in the playlist outside, BUT if you go into 'Edit playlist' to check, you can see that the songs in there still remain as the order they are added (which is think is the order the songs being played in Car AA). Now I am pretty sure if i use 'Edit playlist' and manually drag the songs about, the play order in car will appear as I like, but that's tedious to do in a LONG playlist. 

So the issues are really the following:

1) Why don't just put the 'Sort playlist' option inside 'Edit playlist'? 

2) IF you want to keep 'Sort playlist' and 'Edit playlist' at the same level under the three-dots menu, after 'Sort playlist' action, why don't you propagate the songs order into 'Edit playlist'?
