What is the actual deal with local files and spotify? I've had to fix my local files either not showing up on the desktop and/or phone at all or initially showing up and then mysteriously vanishing at least 5 times over the past 2 years! That's over twice a year!
I know the spiel about what you need to check and it's never any of those problems. Usually I have to resave the file through audacity (praise the audio gods for that sacred program) and then spotify's happy. The last time I had to remove titles from the metadata of songs that had them because spotify didn't like that for some reason. Right now I'm looking at a song that is available on my phone but not on my computer where it's stored? REALLY? Am I the only one who's experiencing this nonsense? Is there a monkey loose in the spotify programming office? Seriously, what are you guys doing to mess things up on such a routine basis?
